Maui, Hawaii - Jungle

One of the most interesting things about Maui is the different scenery on the island.  You have the crater that reminds me of desert with the lack of vegetation.  You have the sandy beaches and the rocky beaches.  You also have this...


what I called the jungle.  As we were entering this jungle I noticed this sign. 


I thought it was very clever.  Obviously posted by locals who were tired of seeing tourists get in trouble in the water.  A path lead us through to the beach.  Along the way we saw roosters which are common to the island for two reasons: the closed dairy and cock-fighting.





After trekking through the jungle, we finally arrived at our destination...
