Grand Teton National Park - Moose

I never got around to posting all the pictures from the Yellowstone trip so I am just going to post some of my favorites.  These are from a spot outside of Jackson where Justin and I have lots of luck finding moose.  I think there has been one at the pond every time we have driven by.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming - Snowmobiling, Part 1

In addition to skiing on our Jackson trip, we rented snow machines for two days at the cabin. Here are our toys just waiting for us to jump on.

For the most part we rode around the lake bed. Here is Jim taking a short break from riding.

Here is one of Justin heading back onto the road that takes you to the cabin. At the entrance to the subdivision there is an open field that was filled with powder and Justin was sure to take full advantage of it.

The views from the lake bed are spectacular as you can see from the picture below.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming - Jim and Betsy

As I mentioned in my post yesterday, Jim and Betsy joined us for our 2010 ski trip. Whenever you spend time with these two, you are pretty much guaranteed to have your sides hurt the next day. From the Michael Jackson tributes or the Beyonce songs to the childhood stories, many laughs are had by all.

Here's the four of us at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort where we were able to spend 2 nights thanks to one of Justin's uncles, Chuck. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of us taking advantage of the rooftop hot tub.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming - Annual Ski Trip

I know it has been a while since I posted so I will posting stuff that happened a LONG time ago.

Back in January, Justin and I set out for our annual ski trip. This year we went to his grandparents' cabin on the Idaho-Wyoming border. Justin's aunt and uncle, Jim and Betsy, joined us this year and we had a BLAST!!

The snow was plentiful as you can see from this picture of the driveway to the cabin.

I thought this tree was interesting so I snapped a picture.

You just can't beat this view of the lake from the cabin. One of these days we will make it up there during the summer and I can finally see the water instead of the snow on top of the ice.
